MELCHIZEDEK – He was King of Jerusalem (Salem), known as the first priest of the God of Abraham , our father in faith. He offered bread and wine in thanksgiving when Abraham returned victorious from battle. (Genesis 14:18-20)
WEDDING AT CANA – Jesus uses six stone water jars to make the choicest wine for the feast. (John 2: 1-10)
Wheat and grapes (used for bread and wine) imposed on chalice and host – used during Mass (Body and Blood of Jesus Christ).
FEEDING OF THE FIVE THOUSAND – Jesus multiplies the loaves and fish to provide enough for the people to eat. (Mark 6: 34-44)
EMMAUS – After the Resurrection, Jesus appeared to the disciples on the road to Emmaus; when invited to their home, he shared Eucharist with them and they recognized him. (Luke 24: 13-35).
